I found this lesson when searching for a direct line drawing lessons on deep space sparkle. It was an absolute success. The students loved it, and their drawings look incredible! Each cat show so much personality! First I showed them Paul Klee’s Cat and Bird, I gave them each a 12×18 piece of white paper and a black oil pastel to draw the outline of the cat, then I gave them chalk pastel to fill in their shapes.
The cats have been hanging on our walls for a little over a month now, as I’m changing the art around the building, I thought it was time to show them off!
